Dana is excited to announce she will be offering her one-of-a-kind designs at River Art Gallery and Gifts. Look for the Babette's Obsession line of accessories, home decor and other emerging delights beginning this month! Most of Dana's merchandise is created using vintage and re-purposed materials giving them a bohemian chic feel. Not only does this make her items unique, it also helps the environment, too!

Dana will also be sharing her sewing expertise at the River. Keep an eye out for more info on a one-day workshop coming this April! Date & details to follow...

Moving Out of the Barn & Future Endeavors

Babette's is moving out of the barn this Sunday. We are focusing on selling our vintage items in lots and creating a new design line.

There are well over 2,000 pieces of clothing and collectibles that are available. Most items are from 1930's - 1970's. Email us for more information.

Dana has been designing one-of-kind items made from vintage and re-purposed materials. A unique blend of items for you and your home will be ready to launch in the early spring.

Babette's Last Chance Barn Sale

Well, our time at the Barn has come to end and we will be closing up shop (booth) at the Shawnee Country Barns at the end of February. Babette's is offering 30% off ALL items...featuring stylish and fanciful mid-century housewares and whimsy. Also available are some lovely ladies accessories and pretty linens. Well, the Holiday season brought lots of joy with family and friends. It also brought an unexpected, but welcomed hiatus.

On the online shop front, Etsy is still in the works. The Barn has taken up more time than we realized. However, the physical shop is only temporary and Dana will have more time to focus on it in the weeks ahead.

We are also looking for buyers who are interested in starting their own collection or in resale. There are lots of dresses and other clothing items that will be sold in lots/mini collections. As we go through more stock, we will provide more info!

WEEK THREE

Dana spent the afternoon working in the Barn this past Saturday. There were lots of great and interesting finds that it was hard not to buy something! She found a curling iron from the early 1900's and a round-shaped wooden darning egg, at least 50 years old...and you bet, both will be used.

We dropped off more stock today - linens, crocheted doilies, evening bags and few other odds and ends. This weekend is the annual "Holiday Journey Excursion" - please see Babette's Facebook fan page for more information -- and we'd love it if you joined the growing list of wonderful fans.

On the online store front: special items are being set aside for sale on etsy; beaded evening bags, seamed stockings, hats, Avon collectibles, jewelry and much more! We are very excited to launch the online shop, it is a bit more work...snappin' and figuring out shipping, etc...so hang in there -- we hope to be up and running very soon. Thanks for your patience and support!
